Following the news of crypto acceptance worldwide, now Blockchain.com is offering crypto debit cards to US-based users, with a partnership with Visa.

A well-known cryptocurrency exchange platform Blockchain.com has partnered with the world-class finance institution Visa for launching crypto-based debit cards. Initially, those debit cards will be available to U.S residents alone.
Those Crypto debit cards will allow the users to pay, trade, or can make other transactions with their cryptos or cash balances wherever Visa debit cards will be accepted.
Following the Oct.26 announcement from Blockchain.com, we can see that there is no sign-up or annual fees, or transaction fees. The users could earn around 1% of purchases back in crypto.
Blochain.com Partners with Visa
Following the announcement, Visa’s head of crypto, Cuy Sheffield, pointed out that worldwide acceptance is necessary for crypto adoption to continue to grow.
The card is powered by California-based payments company Marqeta, which helped develop crypto finance firm Swipe’s crypto visa card in September 2020.
The announcement follows news that Visa has partnered with crypto exchange FTX to roll out a debit card to 40 countries on October 7.
